Overview

The ID4Africa Fellowship Program (IFP) enables a select number of qualified African civil servants to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) by providing financial support to cover travel and hotel expenses.

The IFP also extendedly covers financial assistance to support candidates selected to attend the Continuing Development for Identity Professionals (CDIP) program on June 5, 2020.

How to Apply

Eligibility

The IFP is open ONLY to African government institutions. Higher priority will be given to nominations of female candidates.


Steps
  1. Applications must be submitted by a Director General, his or her proxy, or the nominating leadership of an African government institution.
  2. Complete and submit the application form provided below.
  3. Check to ensure you receive a confirmation notice of your submission by email. This is proof that your application was submitted successfully.

Guidelines for Director Generals or Nominating Leaders
  • You can nominate as many individuals as you judge qualified from your organization (including yourself) to improve the odds of selection.
  • The Fellows selection process is subject to country-specific quotas and consideration for sectoral diversity, in order to achieve Pan-African participation and institutional inclusivity. It also takes into account your immediate needs. If you have specific needs for capacity-building due to an existing or upcoming ID project, please indicate this in the General Questions (3) section of the application.

Deadline

Application Deadline: January 10, 2020

Selected Fellows will be notified directly within 4 weeks from the deadline and automatically registered.
